We are a high-end corporate finance boutique advising and guiding entrepreneurs through their most important business decisions, from initial intent through to succesful execution. Whether it concerns buy- and sell-side advisory, financing and restructurings, or legal support, we translate entrepreneurial ambition into lasting value. Our team consists of ten enthusiastic professionals. As a young and dynamic team, we believe that hard work and enjoyment go hand in hand. From our offices in Zwolle and Hardenberg, we are growing rapidly and are therefore looking to expand our team.

Function

As an M&A Consultant, you will take on a coordinating role within our dynamic team. You will be responsible for performing complex financial analyses, building financial models, and leading or supporting mergers and acquisitions and capital transactions.

Your responsibilities:

  • Performing in-depth financial analyses and modelling
  • Structuring and solving financing-related issues
  • Preparing pitch books and proposal materials to present potential transactions to clients
  • Leading M&A transactions, valuations and market research
  • Facilitating collaboration within and outside the team to leverage expertise
  • Managing your own projects at a strategic level, with strong attention to detail and clear communication with stakeholders
  • Preparing indicative bids
  • Analysing company and market data to generate deep insights and translate them into actionable strategies for clients

Job requirements

We are looking for an M&A Consultant who enjoys working in an informal culture, is a true team player and is eager to continue developing professionally.

You also have:

  • A bachelor's or master's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field
  • At least 2 years of experience in corporate finance or a similar role
  • Excellent financial modelling and analysis skills
  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to clearly explain complex concepts to both internal and external stakeholders
  • Great strategic insight, a proactive and result-driven mindset, and a strong capacity to build strong client relationships
  • Independence, leadership skills and the ability to work effectively within a team
